Refund & Cancellation Policy

We believe in fair, transparent cancellation terms. This policy applies to all bookings made on this website or through our toll-free line 1-888-408-6979, whether you paid in full online or paid the $19.99 reservation fee. Where a booking is fulfilled by a third-party vendor, that vendor's specific terms (disclosed at booking) may also apply.

1. Free Cancellation Window

  • 48+ hours before pickup: cancel for a 100% refund of everything you paid online — including the full rental amount or the $19.99 reservation fee.
  • 24–48 hours before pickup: full payments are refunded minus a fee equal to one day of rental; the $19.99 reservation fee is non-refundable in this window.
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup: full payments are refunded minus a fee of two days of rental (or the total paid, whichever is less); the reservation fee is non-refundable.

2. No-Show Policy

If you fail to arrive within 4 hours of your scheduled pickup time without contacting us, the booking is treated as a no-show. No-show bookings are non-refundable. If your travel is delayed (e.g., flight delay), call us as soon as possible on 1-888-408-6979 — we will hold the vehicle wherever we reasonably can, free of charge.

3. Early Returns & Unused Days

Returning the vehicle earlier than the booked return date does not automatically entitle you to a refund of unused days; this depends on the vendor's terms. Contact us before the early return and we will pursue any available credit or partial refund on your behalf.

4. Cancellations by Us or the Vendor

If we or the vendor cannot provide your booked vehicle category (or a comparable or superior alternative at no extra cost), you will receive a 100% refund of all amounts paid online — including the reservation fee — regardless of the cancellation window. This also applies where a location closure or an event beyond our control makes the rental impossible.

5. Failed, Duplicate & Expired Payments

  • If a Stripe checkout session expires or fails, your card is not charged and no booking is created — no action is required.
  • If you are accidentally charged twice for the same booking, contact us and the duplicate charge will be refunded in full within 7–10 business days.
  • If money leaves your account but you did not receive a confirmation screen, call us with the approximate payment time and email used — we will locate and resolve the transaction promptly.

6. Modifications Instead of Cancellation

Need different dates or a different city? In most cases we can modify your booking free of charge instead of cancelling, subject to availability. If the new dates change the total price, we will refund or collect only the difference. Call 1-888-408-6979 to modify.

7. Non-Refundable Rates

Occasionally we may offer deeply discounted promotional rates that are marked as non-refundable. If a rate is non-refundable, this is clearly disclosed before you pay. Unless expressly stated at checkout, all standard bookings follow the refund windows in Section 1.

8. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
  • Refunds are initiated within 2 business days of approval and typically appear on your statement within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Refunds are issued in USD; your bank's exchange rate applies for non-USD cards and small currency differences may occur.
  • Amounts paid directly to a vendor at pickup (balance, deposits, extras) are refunded by the vendor under its own terms — we will assist you in pursuing these.

9. How to Cancel or Request a Refund

  • Email: write to support@travelsolutions.com from the email address used at booking.
  • Have ready: the name on the booking, the email used, pickup location, and pickup date. We will confirm your cancellation and refund amount in writing.

10. Disputes

If you believe a refund was calculated incorrectly, contact us first — most issues are resolved within 2 business days. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or applicable US consumer protection laws, including your right to raise a dispute with your card issuer.
